Joanne Malcolm

Joanne Malcolm is a British designer from the United Kingdom and is an Arts & Humanities Research Council Scholarship Awardee, Master’s level educated, experienced graphic designer and qualified educator. 
Along with Joanne’s success throughout her previous experiences as a graphic designer and art and design educator, her professional roles have each offered her the chance to relay relevant visual and conceptual methodologies to a culturally diverse mix of colleagues, clients and students with great passion, inspiration and enthusiasm. 
Joanne has particular interests, strengths and experience in both the creation and teaching of art and graphic design; involving but not exclusive to: advertising, conceptual problem-solving, publication design, promotional tools, colour theory and various branding materials for a wide array of clientele and student cohorts across the United Kingdom, Italy, Singapore, Doha and more recently, China.
Joanne is a motivated person with a keen interest, passion and dedication for art, culture, media and graphic design. She has the skills and ability to make a positive contribution to the development of teaching and student learning in a social and inclusive context with regard to her specialist knowledge and experience in both various commercial design positions as well as teaching roles. 
Joanne is very happy to be working in such a flourishing, dynamic and inspirational environment and strives to drive forward the school’s high standards and enhance the Beijing Academy of Creative Arts brand as a pioneering centre of educational excellence within the culturally vibrant and major city of Beijing.
