The BACA Art Centre offers a program of Short Courses and Evening classes that are open to everyone. Anyone who wants to Improve their skills In Art and Design ia welcome, regardless of their level of experience. All courses will be taught in English, and give you tlie opportumity to improve your language skills!
 

FILM & PHOTOGRAPHY

Students attending our film and ptLOtography courses will be able to leam skills In studio, darkroom and alternative photography, as well as film shooting and editing. All film and photography courses will be taught in our well equipped studio and darkroom space.
 

FINE ART AND PRINTMAKING

Learn life drawing, painting, printmaking and other 2D skills! BACA Art Centre will in particulax offer a range of exciting print- making workshops, including silkscreen printing, lino cutting and mono printing.
 

CERAMICS AND 3D

Anyone interested in learning more about working with clay or making sculpture can Join one of our ceramics or 3D courses. We will offer an introduotloii to ceramics, beginning with hand building ceramics and pot throwing, but also exploring more complex image transfer techniques.
 

TEXTILES,JEWELLERY AND FASHION

Anyone interesting working In textiles, jewellery, or fashion 1b welcome to Join one of courses. The courses at BACA Art Centre win offer a range of conHtrucfted, printed and dyed textile techniques, as well as skills In jewellery and fashion, from styling, pattern cutting and fashion illustration to trend analysis,
 

GALLERY TOURS AND HISTORY/THEORY OF ART

BACA Art Centre offers courses or lecture series in Art History and Theory, ranging from short or day-long classes to more extended survey classes running over several weeks. Additionally, with Beijing as one of the Art capitals as the world, BACA Art Centre will organise a series of gallery tours as pait of its program of events, Tours will cover the major ait areas of 798 and Caochan- gdi, but also some of the lesser known galleries in Beijing, many of them hidden in the hutongs around BACA Art Centre.
